It is the normal case here. Someone at the counter will bait the first hook and show you how to hold the rod, and the water is shallow and stocked, so a first session almost never ends empty.
Yes, and there is a separate shallow pond set into astroturf for the youngest ones, with short rods and low sides. An adult needs to stay with them.
It gets weighed on one of the two scales — that weight is what goes on the board. After that it is your call: keep it, have it cooked at the counter, or put it back.
