Six bays.One clock.

Direct-drive wheels, three curved screens, and a seat that fights back. Walk in, pick a bay, and put a lap time on the board.

Six bays, one set of machinery

Every bay runs the same wheel, the same pedals, and the same three screens — so when six of you race, the only difference on the board is the driver. What changes bay to bay is the car we leave loaded in it.

  • Direct-drive wheelbase
  • Three curved screens
  • Load-cell brake pedal
  • Full bucket seat and headset

Point at a bay, or use the arrow keys, to see what it is set up to drive.

First LapRookie

The bay we start everyone in. Automatic gears, traction control on, and a marshal stood behind you for the first three laps until the corners start arriving on time.

Light, loud, and close racing. The car understeers where the GT3 slides, so it rewards a driver who can be patient into a corner and greedy out of it.

From the desk to the flag

  1. Sector 1

    Sign in at the desk

Give your name, pick a bay, and the desk puts you on the board. No licence, no membership, no kit to bring.

  2. Sector 2

    Seat and setup

The seat slides to you and the wheel comes back to meet your hands. A marshal sets the assists to match how much you have driven before.

  3. Sector 3

    Qualifying

Five laps on your own to learn where the corners are. Your fastest one decides where you start when the lights go out.

  4. Finish

    The race

Ten laps against whoever else is in the room, live on the wall board, with the sheet printed at the desk when the flag drops.

This week on the board

The board resets every Monday at 10.00. Ask at the desk for the printed sheet.

All news

Before you sit down

Anything else, ask a marshal. There is one on the floor whenever the room is open.

Do I need to know how to drive?

No. Bay 01 runs with automatic gears and every assist switched on, and a marshal stays with you for the first laps. Plenty of people who have never held a racing wheel set a clean lap on their first visit.

Is there a minimum age?

The seat and pedals fit a driver from about 140 cm, which is usually around ten years old. Younger children are welcome to sit in with a grown-up on the wheel — and kart.inc next door has no height limit at all.

Can six of us race each other?

That is what the room is built for. The six bays run identical hardware, so a group of six starts on the same machinery and the wall board scores it live.

Does it make you motion sick?

The seats do not move, so it is far gentler than a VR headset. If you do start to feel it, look at the horizon on the centre screen and lift off — a marshal can pause the session at any time.

What should I wear?

Anything you can sit down in. Flat shoes help on the pedals, so leave the heels with your bag at the desk.

Can we book the whole room?

Yes, for leagues, birthdays, and company grids. Tell the desk how many drivers and how long you want, and we will set every bay to the same car and circuit.

Come and set a time

We are in the middle of the entertainment district, next door to the other play.inc units. Walk in and take whichever bay is free, or book ahead if you want the whole room.
